What types of license models do you offer?
Do you offer Enterprise Licenses or 'Concurrent User' or 'Floating User' licenses?

Answer

Yes. Our products have 2 license models:

1. The most common is our 'Per seat' or 'Per named user'. Each person (or machine) will be assigned a license (whichever number is greater, persons or machines). See here for more info.

2. We also offer a 'Enterprise Cloud' licenses (also known as Concurrent or Floating user licenses). This can be more cost effective when there are many users who will make use of the tool.

Cloud Floating Licenses are 'shared licenses' that are 'pooled' and require an internet connection to share the set of licenses from our Online License Server. For example, you can have 5 floating cloud licenses and 50 users who have the product installed (you can have unlimited installations with this license), the usage of the tool in this case is limited to 5 users using the tool at the exact same time. When the user is done with the tool (such as after fixing links or building reports), the license can be automatically released back to the pool of cloud licenses for other users to use.

Important

Floating/concurrent user licenses have an auto-deactivate feature to auto release licenses due to inactivity with product (no-running or future scheduled reports for x amount of time). This can be set in minutes and hours.
Cognillo products that support floating licenses have a manual ‘Deactivate’ button option to release a floating/concurrent license back to pool.

Genta Automation

Community Edition does not support Enterprise Cloud (floating) licenses.

Professional or Enterprise versions both support Enterprise Cloud (floating) licenses by default.
