Question

NOTE: This question relates to the SharePoint Essentials Toolkit product licensing.
We only need 2 or 3 user licenses. Can we just purchase licenses for 2 or 3 users?

Answer

Standard License (Per Seat) Model:

  • The SharePoint Essentials Toolkit provides licenses in bundles.
  • You can purchase licenses for 1, 3, 5 10 or more users.
  • From our website, you can do this by changing the 'No. of Users' to 3. Contact us if you only need 2 user licenses.
  • Navigate to the SharePoint Essentials Toolkit product page and click 'Get Pricing' to open the Cost Calculator, see below.



  • NOTE: You can upgrade the number of Site Collections anytime by contacting us, you only pay the difference and it is pro-rated.

Enterprise Cloud License (Floating/Concurrent) Model:

  • No, this license model cannot be used for less than 5 users and is recommended for 10 or more users, otherwise the Standard 'Per-seat' License above is more suitable and cost effective.
